We invest in entrepreneurs through business education, mentorship, and startup grants.
Street Entrepreneurs initially focused on homeless youth. Why start there?
To be an entrepreneur you have to know hustle. While growing up, I volunteered in shelters and had the chance to meet really talented youth with a lot of hustle and drive. Unfortunately, their talents went to waste and were exploited by drug gangs. Up to 40% of homeless youth resort to selling drugs to make ends meet. I once heard that a drug dealer is an entrepreneur selling the wrong product. I wanted to help these "Street Entrepreneurs" sell a producto which allows them to grow. I recognize their grit, their hustle, their innate drive and invest in it.
